Terms of Service

Last updated: January 1, 2024

These terms govern your use of Simply Clean and Restoration's Water Damage services and website. By requesting our services or using our digital resources, you agree to these terms. We provide transparent guidelines for our restoration work, emergency response, and customer relationships.

Service Agreement

Water Damage restoration services by Simply Clean and Restoration begin with a signed authorization form detailing scope, estimated costs, and timeline. Emergency mitigation may proceed with verbal authorization to prevent further damage. All work follows industry standards and local regulations. Customers grant access to affected property areas and necessary utilities for proper Water Damage assessment and restoration.

Emergency Response

Our 24/7 emergency Water Damage response aims for arrival within 90 minutes when possible, though severe weather or multiple simultaneous incidents may cause delays. Initial mitigation focuses on stopping water intrusion, extracting standing water, and setting drying equipment. This emergency service constitutes a separate phase from comprehensive restoration work, each with distinct authorizations.

Estimates and Pricing

Simply Clean and Restoration provides written estimates for Water Damage restoration based on visible damage and standard industry pricing guides. Final costs may vary if hidden damage is discovered during restoration. We communicate changes immediately and require approval before proceeding. Payment terms are outlined in service agreements, with options for insurance billing where applicable.

Insurance Coordination

While we assist with insurance documentation for Water Damage claims, customers remain responsible for their insurance policy details, deductibles, and claim approvals. We provide moisture readings, photos, and detailed estimates to support claims but cannot guarantee specific coverage. Direct billing to insurance requires proper authorization and may involve customer responsibility for uncovered portions.

Property Access and Safety

Customers must provide safe access to Water Damage areas and disclose known hazards like electrical issues, structural concerns, or hazardous materials. Simply Clean and Restoration may pause work if unsafe conditions arise until resolved. We take reasonable care with property and belongings but aren't liable for pre-existing damage or items not removed from water exposure areas.

Warranty and Guarantees

Simply Clean and Restoration warranties workmanship for one year from completion date for Water Damage restoration services. This covers issues arising from improper drying or repair techniques. It excludes new water incidents, normal wear, or problems from customer modifications. Our satisfaction guarantee ensures we'll address legitimate concerns about completed Water Damage work at no additional charge.

Intellectual Property

All Simply Clean and Restoration materials, including website content, educational resources, and proprietary Water Damage assessment methods, remain our intellectual property. Customers may use provided documentation for insurance and personal reference but cannot reproduce or distribute our materials commercially. Before/after photos may be used in our marketing unless specifically declined in writing.

Limitation of Liability

Simply Clean and Restoration's liability for Water Damage services is limited to the service cost or insurance proceeds received. We aren't liable for consequential damages, mold issues from delayed reporting, or problems from pre-existing conditions. This limitation applies to all services unless state law requires different standards for Water Damage restoration providers.

Dispute Resolution

Disputes regarding Simply Clean and Restoration's Water Damage services will first attempt resolution through direct discussion. If unresolved, parties agree to mediation before litigation. Texas law governs these terms. Customers must provide written notice of disputes within 30 days of service completion. We maintain thorough documentation of all Water Damage assessments and restoration work.

Website Use

Website content provides general Water Damage information, not professional advice for specific situations. While we strive for accuracy, emergency Water Damage requires professional assessment. Users shouldn't delay emergency calls based on website information. Simply Clean and Restoration isn't liable for actions taken based on website content without proper on-site evaluation by certified technicians.

Policy Changes

Simply Clean and Restoration may update these terms with notice on our website. Continued use of services after updates constitutes acceptance. Major changes affecting active Water Damage restoration projects will be communicated directly. The updated date indicates the most recent revision of our service terms and conditions.
